The Machines: Fleet Quality Matters

A great quad adventure starts with the machine underneath you. Marragafay operates modern, automatic Yamaha Grizzly 350cc/450cc and Kymco MXU quad bikes. With automatic transmissions (simply press the thumb throttle to accelerate and hand lever to brake), they are remarkably intuitive to handle within minutes.

Safety First: Briefing and Gear

Safety is never an afterthought. Before turning the ignition key, all riders participate in a comprehensive 15-minute safety briefing covering throttle control, weight shifting when turning, following distance, and hand signals.

We provide all essential protective equipment:

• DOT-approved full-face or open-face helmets.
• Protective goggles to block dust and wind.

Top Tips for First-Time Quad Riders

• Dress for Dust: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty. Long pants and closed-toe sneakers are mandatory.
• Maintain Following Distance: Keep at least 15 to 20 metres between you and the quad ahead to avoid riding in their dust cloud.
• Use Your Body Weight: Lean gently into turns to keep the four wheels planted firmly on the trail.
• Morning vs. Afternoon: Morning sessions (9:00 AM) offer cooler temperatures and dust-free air, while late afternoon rides (4:30 PM) capture spectacular golden hour photography.
